Rough Script...

FADE IN

EXT. SKY OVER LOOKING A FOREST -- DAYTIME

The camera pans through an army of helicopters over looking a forest.
The camera focuses on one helicopter with BOB located inside.

INT. HELICOPTER -- DAYTIME

BOB (30 year old army soldier) excitedly awaits departure onto the enemy.
Three other soldiers conjest behind him.

BOB
I can't wait to hear those idiots beg
for their lives!

The soldiers surround BOB with many smiling faces of agreement. Camera
cuts toward the piolit.

PIOLIT
Departure in 3...2...1...

All the solders depart from the plane. The camera follows the path of
BOB's departure through his eye of sight.

EXT. SKY -- DAYTIME

As he falls through the air, it is now time for departure of the parachutte.
As BOB pulls the string for his chutte, nothing happens. He glances back
up at the plane with a very annoyed and angry emotion.

BOB
(with a very scared expression) Not
again!

As he digs through the backpack on his back, he finds an umbrella and uses
it to float downward. A very satisfied look appears across his face.
This is when BOB pulls out many different floating devices that all end up
breaking and making him fall faster. The camera is focusing on BOB from a
frontal view for the majority of this sequence. As he approaches the ground,
BOB falls down and creates a big boom sound.

EXT. GROUND BRIM OF THE FOREST -- DAYTIME

He plummets to the ground with a loud boom. The camera shows BOB's reaction
before the audience sees what appears before him. A few soldiers are
surround BOB at gunpoint.

ENEMY SOLDIER #1
Any last spoken words you desire to
speak?

BOB
(he looks up to the sky for hope from
God) I stand ground for my country!

ENEMY SOLDIER #2
That's original.

BOB gives the soldiers a disgusting look of an "I hope you die" expression.
Suddenly, an umbrella, .... all hit an enemy one by one. Bob looks up to
the sky in thankfullness. The camera leaves the story by stalking BOB.

Story Revision

Many helicopters are flying toward the enemy for an attack. Each helicopter has 4 soldiers in it. Bob is so eager for an attack on the enemy, apparently he has been excited for this time to strike back. The piolit gives a 5 minute warning for departure. Bob is the last soldier to leave the aircraft. As the time comes for release of the parachutes, Bob reaches for his and notices he doesn't have it, he looks back up at the plane to realize he left it there. He breaks out into a spasm and searches for items in his backpack for air support. The first thing he pulls out from his back is an umbrella. A smile appears across Bob's face. Seconds later, the umbrella flips upward causing Bob's speed to pick up again, and he loses the umbrella. He searches for another item, reaching for his foot, Bob pulls off one of his socks. As he puts the sock above his head, it fills up with air and slows him down (it looks like a big balloon at this point). All of a sudden the sock tears and sends Bob racing to the ground empty handed at a higher speed. As he sees the ground approaching, Bob hurrys to find another floating device. He grabs a cat from under his helmet and holds its legs above his head to try and float. The cat goes crazy and breaks free from Bob's grip, sending him to to the ground at a faster rate. Bob reaches for another device. He pulls a kite out from his vest. The kite flies up into the air, growing farther and farther away from Bob. The string finally comes to the end and it breaks off, sending Bob free again. Bob makes a big thud on the ground during landing, but is not hurt. As he stands up and wipes himself off, rubbing his eyes, he sees ememies surrounding him at gun point. They ask Bob if he has any last words, and with a sudden shock, Bob gives a sorrow sigh. Seconds later the devices that helped him up in the air come down at a fast speed and knocks the enemies all off their feet! (umbrella punchers the head of one of the ememies, knocking him out. The sock follows seconds later, covering the head of the other ememy. The cat scratches the heck out of another soldier, and the kite pierces another. Bob gives a thankful sigh of relief.

I changed my story a little bit.... same concept

All of a suddenthe sock tears and sends Bob racing to the ground empty handed at a higher speed. As he sees the ground approaching, Bob hurrys to find another floating device. He grabs a cardboard box from behind his back and holds it above his head (he holds the top of the box so the top flaps are open and in his hands, but the bottom is closed and thatmakes him float). He is less than a hundred feet from the ground and another smile breaks out across his face when the box supports him. The bottom of the box then opens and releases the support, droping Bob to the ground faster than before. Bob makes a big thud on the ground during landing, but is not hurt. As he stands up and wipes himself off, rubbing his eyes, he sees 3 ememies surrounding him at gun point. They ask Bob if he has any last words, and with a sudden shock, Bob gives a sorrow sigh. Seconds later the umbrella appears from above and punchers the head of one of the ememies, knocking him out. The sock follows seconds later, covering the head of the other ememy standing behind the front one (main one). The Main one looks behind him and laughs to show that he is still standing in front of Bob with a gun. The cardboard box then comes down hard and surrounds the body of the last standing enemy, knocking the gun out of his hand and pulling him off his feet. Bob gives a thankful sigh of relief.

in depth...

Many helicopters are flying toward the enemy for an attack. Each helicopter has 4 soldiers in it.Bob is so eager for an attack on the enemy, apparently he has been excited for this time to strike back. Suddenly a voice from behind him speaks, "where is your parachute Bob?" Bob turns around and sees Joe standingthere with a confused look. As soon as Bob takes in the words Joe has just said, he jumps in horror to seethat he has left his chute back at the base. Bob panics as the piolit gives a 5 minute warning, he searches for extra chutes within the helicopter but does not come across any. Joe then suggests to throw their baggageout of the plane first as all the others depart, and for the both of them to share a parachute. Bob agrees and thanks Joe for the offer. As the other soldiers drop to the ground, Joe and Bob throw their bags (full of weapons) along with them. They then depart. A big thunderous boom sounds and shakes as the two soldiers hitthe ground under one chute. They uncover the chute that buries them to find that many of their allies have been taken hostage and Bob and Joe are held at gun point by some of their very own weaponry. The enemies ask the two soldiers if they have any last words. As Joe squeals is agony for his family, Bob skillfully reaches for a weapon in his bag that lays only a few feet beside him. Bob's unnoticed action is really a reach for his forgotten parachute which opens with such intensity it knocks all the enemies off their feet!

I changed my story...

A big mistake can save your life...

1. Bob sits in army helicopter awaiting the arrival for battle

2. Joe comes up behind Bob and asks him where his chute is

3. Bob begins to panic as the piolit gives the signal for departure

4. Bob hunts the helicopter down for extra parachutes but can't find any

5. Joe suggests to Bob that they drop their armor to the ground and share a chute

6. They go for it, taking weight off the two of them, they drop the armor to the ground. As they skydive to the ground, the enemy grabs Bob and Joe's guns off their packs, surrounds the two, aims at them, and gives them their last words

7. While Joe begs for mercy, Bob slowly reaches for his pack for protection, pulling out what he thinks is a rope, is really his "forgotten" parachute which opens with such intensity it knocks all the enemies off their feet!
