A big mistake can save your life
1. Bob is siting ontop of the only tree around, hiding his food in a place on the tree that is not very sturdy
2. Roy is hungry and desires food in the middle of nowhere
3. Roy sights Bob and begins to go after his food or him, because there is no other food
4. Bob begins to drift down the tree in search of more food
5. Roy climbs up tree, and runs into Bob
6. The battle begins, the two start fighting, rolling around in the tree. Bob falls off and onto the ground, leaving Roy up in the tree and eating the food
7. Bob walks away from the tree all sad, right as Roy puts a cherry in his mouth, the tree collapses and Roy dies, putting a surprised dreadful, satisfactory look on Bob's face

I think the idea for your animation is good, but could use a little improvement, as with most stories. I see the animation taking place in a deserted area like Africa and Bob is up in the single tree with no plants around. So, I get a real good visual. But what if instead of a fight the other character uses trickery to get Bob out of the tree and away from his food. He could toss what appears to be more food and with Bob being greedy goes after. Or maybe something a lot more clever. I like the ending, but I hope that he doesn't actually die, but maybe loses the food in someway that Bob ha nothing to do with. Anyway, Good start.
First I am curious what Bob and Roy actually are...also I don't think Roy should die either. I think the cherry or whatever food they are fighting after should somehow have a mind of its own and runs away from them as they go after it. I think it could get away from them at the end so that no one gets it.
when i think of roy and bob i think they are either cavemen or animals. instead of the tree falling on roy what if he choked on the cherry and bob saves him and eats the cherry after getting it out of his throat.
Well, the premise of the story is good. But I will start off with, u can't kill the character at the end. NO KILLING!
moving on......An alternative idea could be that Bob is an old guy that is sitting on top of a tree that is healthy. Then Roy who is in his 20's can't find food. Roy attempts to climb tree, but Bob keeps hitting Bob with sticks. So, Roy throws rocks at bob and then he falls to the ground and then Roy climbs tree and takes bob's spot. Then bob tries to hit him in the tree, but is too old to climb up or hit him with a stone......
Then maybe the tree starts to die because bob is not in the tree....so, tree looses all its food and then Roy jumps to the ground and sees the old guy laying against the tree and then Roy starts to leave and then gives a second glance and the old guy oepns his eyes and then points up and then roy helps him get up into the tree and then food starts to grow again.....
kinda reminds me of the idea with the kid and the balloons
